Organic cotton is cotton grown without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides, which is better for human health as well as nature. Organic cotton differs from other cotton in several important ways. The difference begins right at the fiber stage. To qualify for the organic label, every stage in the production chain has to meet set criteria governing environmental and social responsibility. To provide simple and clear confirmation that products are organically sourced they each carry a sewn-in label with the words: “Organic Cotton 100% certified”.

In the product range of ImseVimse there are flannelette products made of certified organic cotton. These products are also certified according to the EU Ecolabel. The EU Ecolabel is the European Union’s environmental quality mark. The EU Ecolabel is a symbol of superior environmental quality. This symbol is a guarantee of an environmental friendly product during the whole life cycle.
